World of Horror - Deluxe Shrouded Edition IGN Exclusive - Board Game

From an Eldritch pact between Lost In Cult, Panstasz and Ysbryd Games comes World of Horror: The Board Game. 

It gives flesh to Paweł Koźmiński’s original board game concept that inspired the World of Horror video game, dragging it into the physical realm, manifesting at last, its unpredictable terror.

In this card-based survival RPG, players wander the seaside town of Shiokawa. Solving mysteries, combating nightmarish creatures and navigating tough decisions, all whilst racing against the relentless ascent of the Doom Wheel. Horrors stir in the shadows and the ceaseless presence of the Old God looms over their every step. A cold reminder that flesh is a fragile veil and survival is never guaranteed. 

As each mystery unfolds, the Advancement Token crawls forward, warping fate itself and twisting the course of each investigation. These mysteries draw players to places burdened with secrets, where vital clues lie buried. With each step, the characters are reshaped by forces beyond their control. 

To succeed in cleansing Shiokawa, three mysteries are to be completed in a single and unbroken sequence. Should they fall to the abominations that dwell within Shiokawa, or should the Doom Wheel reach 100%, the slumbering Old God awakens devouring all life. 

The investigation may also be undertaken as a shared effort with friends. Individuals take turns guiding the character’s decisions, wandering the accursed town, facing enemies and piecing together the truths that remain hidden beneath its surface. Friends can fully immerse themselves in an ever-evolving storyline, one designed to be experienced together as a shared horror story.
